Marlboro, Vermont. After a recent storm fell a large tree on the left rear corner of this building and destroyed it, the owner (Paul) decided to add a turret (a small circular tower connected to the building) instead of just fixing it the way it was. Now he has a large private space to work, sleep and relax on the second floor with great views of the beautiful tree tops. The turret connects to a narrow attic space (a garret) which was already being renovated as an upstairs master bedroom and bath. The stairs connect to the kitchen below giving him easy access to food and drink.
